This project was a design and build intervention for a Japanese manufacturing company, focusing on the transformation of a washroom serving both management and visiting clients.
The original space fell short of the standards expected within a Japanese corporate environment, where even utilitarian spaces such as restrooms are regarded as an extension of the company’s quality, discipline, and attention to detail.
The redesign introduces a more refined spatial experience through calibrated material selection, improved layout clarity, and upgraded sanitary fittings. Careful consideration was given to hygiene, durability, and ease of maintenance, while maintaining a calm and composed aesthetic.
The result is a discreet yet elevated environment — a space that reflects the client’s commitment to quality and offers a clean, comfortable, and reassuring experience for both staff and guests.
